When it comes to cotton, there's nothing better! This yarn is dye-fast, and unshrinkable. Because it is gassed, Super 10 has a beautiful shine and won't pill. The cable spun process produces a yarn that stretches less than common cotton yarns, and your tension will be more reliable and predictable. You can spend more on cotton yarn, but you can't get any better quality.

My Favorite Yarn
I have been using Butterfly Super 10 Cotton for 4-5 years, and have yet to find a yarn I like better. I have used it for hats, sweaters, baby blankets, and baby clothes. It is soft, easy to work with, and washes up beautifully. I wish it had been around when my sons were little.

I had purchased some of this "yarn" from another vendor about 8 years ago, different dye lot. For a varsity of reasons I wanted more "yarn" to complete my sweater. The yarn, while a different dye lot, is a great match and I was able to complete the sweater. Thank you.

Soft touch but weak twist
Cottons can often be scratchy, this one is easy on the hands, however if working a pattern requiring high tension the twist will not hold, it unwind to easily and result in the work in progress needing to be unwound frequently. When worked loosely it is just fine and quite pleasant to work with.

Had used this cotton for years when it was made by Kertzer. So happy it is still available under the new manufacturer in Greece. Looks and feels the same, great hand, great yardage, great value. Gets even better with use.
