Part of the 2012 Calendar of Patterns. Crochet this eye catching scarf and you'll get lots of compliments.  Wear it long, or wrapped around like a cowl, plain or with a contrasting silk scarf threaded through the tube.

Size F 5 hook.   Yarn Hamann LUXURY, 100% Superfine Alpaca, working 2 strands of yarn held together throughout; 1 skein base color and 1 each of 4 contrast colors.  About 90 yards of DK weight yarn in each color can be substituted, used single strand.  60" long silk scarf optional.
