Entrelac Knitting

There are eye-catching garments and accessories for men and women, children and adults—including hats, mittens, sweaters, scarves, and more.  There are special sections of patterns specifically meant for beginners, which is very helpful for grasping the technique.  There is a certain emphasis, though, on learning to knit "backwards" (transferring stitches from RHN to LHN) to avoid turning, thus always working on the right side, and instructions are only given for continental knitters.  If you don't want to perfect this extra skill, it is still quite easy to use the book for its many lovely patterns and helpful instruction.
