These small delicate shawls are slightly crescent-shaped, which helps them to stay in place. Their delicate wings will settle as light as feathers on your shoulders. Both shawls are worked by casting on stitches at the top edge of a central panel, then increasing to a crescent shape. The simple edging is knit as a continuation of the body, and blocked into points. Finished size about 53" across the top, by 15" deep. Each shawl takes about 500 yards of lace weight yarn.
For intermediate lace knitters. All Fiddlesticks Knitting lace patterns are charted.
