The Florence Scarves were inspired by the design of a simple scarf seen in a shop window in Florence, Italy. The rectangular scarf is worked from one end to the other in a garter stitch lace pattern and has a deep, knotted fringe. The triangular scarf is worked by casting on two stitches and increasing to create a triangular shape, finishing with a frilly edging.
Rectangle is about 12-5" wide, 436-48" long. Triangle about 54" across top and 27" deep excluding frill. Each scarf uses about 630 yards laceweight yarn. Recommended for Advanced Beginners.
