Jojoland Harmony
These yarns from Jojoland are an entirely different concept in color. Extremely gradual, subtle color changes make for a spectacular result. Every colorway is based on three main colors, and the yarn slowly changes from one to the next. Be sure to enlarge the swatches so you can see all the lovely colors.
 
Harmony produces a fabric so light it is transluscent, and the colors simply glow from within. Truly extraordinary. Harmony is 100% merino wool in an extra-fine lace weight, perfect for shawls, scarves, cobweb lace. Great for crochet too! There is simply nothing else like it.There are two Jojoland patterns designed for this yarn, but many many other patterns calling for laceweight yarn are very appropriate, including Fiddlesticks and FiberTrends shawls and scarves.
  • 100% Merino wool in beautiful graduated shades
  • Lace Weight
  • 50 gram skeins are 800m (840 yards)
  • Use with any pattern for fine lace with whatever needle is appropriate for gauge and fabric structure
  • Stockinette gauge is 9 st & 16 rows per inch on size 0 needles

    This is the only really fine plied wool yarn I can find and it comes in interesting colors.

    I am enjoying using this yarn in weaving a scarf. It is performing very well. I haven't had a chance to wash it yet but expect good things.

    Soft, Lovely Colors and Strong Lace Weight Yarn

    I have used Jojoland lace weight before and truly appreciate the strength of the yarn...because sometimes rip as much as I knit, lol! Jojoland holds up without getting all fuzzy and breaking. It is a soft yarn with lovely color changes. It will be my choice for lace knitting.

    I have to say that I am extremely please with both the yarn and the service I received. My order arrived faster than I expected and the yarn is exactly what I needed -- it even was the same dye lot as the original yarn which I had purchased in October at Rhinebeck. I will defiinitely shop here again
