How to Knit

An accessible introduction to knitting, How to Knit is for absolute beginners.  Beginners will learn all the essentials, plus some extra techniques to make finished projects.

Clear step-by-step illustrations and beautiful photographs of the finished projects are included throughout.  Most techniques are given as one method, making How to Knit practical for beginners.  As most experienced knitters know, there are many ways to cast on, increase, decrease, etc., but in my opinion having "too many choices" can be overwhelming for beginners. The exception to this is the basic forming of stitches is explained in both the English (American) and Continental methods.
