Letilopi not quite as expected
The color is beautiful but the yarn itself is very coarse. I wanted to use it for a scarf but don’t feel it would be comfortable around someone’s neck. On the plus side the shipping is very quick!

Lett-Lopi
I keep coming back to Handknitting for my Lopi and am never disappointed. Selection and service are terrific. I had received an order and one of the skeins mistakenly had a different dye lot. Laurel fixed the it right away and sent a correct dye lot skein. Amazing customer service.

My go-to Lopi source
Like many others, I have jumped (back) on the Lopi bandwagon (after a 40-year interlude) and am finding that Handknitting.com always has the colors that I need, and ships very fast. Thanks for helping me to never miss a stitch!

Lett-Lopi Icelandic Wool
I bought this wool as a result of an interview of Kerrie Brown by Suzanne Bryan. Kerrie had stated her son loved his sweater made of Lett-Lopi wool. The project I was about to begin was wool socks for soldiers. I ordered the wool and was pleased with the color. As I began knitting I noticed blotching on my hands and I started sniffing. It turns out I am allergic to this wool and could not finish knitting. I am sending the foot part of the sock I finished and blocked to see if the soldier for which I started the project, would have allergic reactions, too, or be OK with the wool. There are many wools and wool blends for which I have no problem with allergies but this wool does not work for me. I hope people who don't generally have allergies will try this wool for their warm projects but first check with the wearer to ensure they do not have allergies.
