Pure Linen Yarn by Lang
Soft, washed linen knitted into a fine ribbon yarn - wearable through the summer and all year long! Unlike many linen yarns, Lino is soft and light weight, due to its tape construction. Easy to knit, and looks great with a little lace work.
There are stylish patterns for Lino in the Fatto a Mano Spring and Summer magazines. These designs are simply stunning. Knit a simple top to wear on its own all summer, then under a jacket for work the rest of the year!

- 19 stitches & 30 rows = 4 inches
- US 7-8 needles (4.5-5 mm)
- 50 gram ball is about 120 yards (110m)
- Machine wash warm, gentle, use detergent for fine wash, dry flat
- Woman's medium (36") long sleeved pullover takes approximately 550 g (11 balls)

The linen look
I used Lino linen for a long cardigan vest which gave it a very nice look and classy feel! I also knitted a coordinating muffler using putty and black. I receive compliments on both projects and enjoy wearing each!

Ny new Lino yarn
Although I haven't begun working with this particular batch of Lino, I have used it before, and when I finish two other projects, I'll enthusiastically begin using this beautiful color of pure line. Thank you.
