Superwash merino by Lang
Another truly fabulous example of Lang's color expertise! This one is a single ply, very long repeat fine yarn, great for lace projects, fine knits, and more. This yarn is 100% wool, and superwash too!. The colors are so true, so enticing, and have great impact, as you would expect from Lang's European mills. Soft and supple, this yarn has a tight twist that is just slightly uneven to give the depth and texture you're looking for.
There are projects for this yarn in the Lang Fatto a Mano 201, "Color!), but you could use this for so many projects that call for variegated yarn with a long repeat, like "Swing Knitting©", or patterns in "Artful Color, Mindful Knits". And thousands of gorgeous lace projects too!

- 27 stitches & 36 rows over 4" for a solid fabric
- Needle size 2-4 for stockinette, but can be larger for lace
- 50 gram ball is about 209 yards (190m)
- Machine wash gentle, dry flat, do not use fabric softener or dry clean
- Woman's plain medium (36") long sleeved pullover takes approximately 400 g (8 balls)

Beautiful colors, soft yarn
This yarn is really pretty and soft, too. The colors are really nice. My only issue is that it's really hard to pick back, if you make a mistake—the fibers sort of grab onto each other, once knitted, so they can be hard to "deknit". (That's my problem, not the yarn's—I should pay more attention to what I'm doing!)

Beautiful yarn
I bought 4 balls of this yarn a year ago to knit the ZickZack Scarf...I finally started to knit the scarf now, but needed more yarn. I was able to get the yarn in a very timely manner from Handknitting. It has beautiful self striping colors in the yarn...always a surprise to see what I will get as I knit.
