Reggae Tote

Part of the 2012 Calendar of Patterns.  Make a joyful statement this summer with this beautiful tote! The tote base is knit, then the embellishments are crocheted and attached.  A riot of happy color.

Gauge is not critical to this project.  Needle size: US 11  and crochet hooks Sizes D (3) and L (8).

Yarn Hamann Elation, 85% Peruvian Cotton, 15% alpaca, 50g/140 yards.  15 skeins soft white #00, and several yards each of 12 colors for flowers.  6" diameter rattan handles, large plastic mesh, batting, fabric appropriate for lining.
