Easy-to-knit, yet very fashionable, this cape has a unique detail -- a braided cable along the waist.  One size fits most.  For intermediate knitters.

Gauge 20 sts and 24 rows = 4" in k2, p2 rib.  Needle size US 8 (5 mm).

Yarn Helen Hamann LUXURY, 100% Superfine Alpaca, #2 Sports weight, 50 g skein. 184 yards (168 m). Knit with 2 strands held together throughout.   14 skeins in total, sample has been knitted with 2 skeins SFN10 cotton clouds (yarn C), 3 skeins SFN21 rich cream (yarn B), 4 skeins SFN24 chocolate (yarn C) and 5 skeins SFN33 cocoa (yarn D) -- 2,576 yards, (2,355 meters).
