Finished size is 84" along the top edge, and 33" from top to bottom point excluding fringe. Gauge is 24st & 42 rows = 8 inches in garter stitch, after blocking. Use any size needle to obtain this gauge (US 8-10.5 recommended)
The yarn called for is Filatura Di Crosa Baby Kid Extra, 3 balls of each of 3 colors. This yarn is very fine, 270 yards in 25g. Because there are 3 strands held together, the total composite length required is about 820 yards.
If you want to go with the 3 color mix, Ovation is a good substitute. Alternatively, you could use fewer strands of Kidlin or Berroco Memoirs to get the same gauge.
