A great scarf to wear for every occasion. The scarf is made of one asymmetrical piece which has holes knitted into it. Through these holes, 2 different colored stripes are woven into to create the unique effect of a woven piece. Simply fantastic!
The color swatches above show the background color. The pumpkin color is the one in the photo, accented with green and purple. Helen chose the other combinations for us: The blue background has yellow and bright pink contrast, and the black background is paired with gold and chili pepper red.
Yarn Helen Hamann LUXURY, 100% Superfine Alpaca working 2 strands of yarn held together throughout -- 6 balls of main color, 1 ball each of two complimenting colors -- 1,472 yards (1,344 meters).Gauge 22 sts and 32 rows = 4" in St st.  Needle size US 6 (4 mm).
