For those of you fond of the elaborate geometric designs of the Art Deco period, here's a pretty clasp that will enhance your cardigan or jacket. The stylized papyrus inscribed with coils, then is antiqued to bring out the contrast. The two pieces close by a hook-and-eye mechanism, and when closed measures about 2 5/8 inches wide. These clasps are made with a heavier grade of metal and will not become misshapen with use. Clasps used to be common for knitwear, and provide an attractive, jewelry-like closure.
