Explore a new frontier in your knitting and crochet with this multi-colored, multi-textured yarn that has no discernible repeat. Uneven striping results from plain knitting, but this yarn really shines when used in multi-directional knitting, including mitered squares, entrelac, and diagonal pieces. Some elongated or drop stitch patterns, and some brioche stitches would also show a different look for your knitting. Your imagination is the only limit!
Frontier is a soft and snuggly wool blend of 52% wool and 49% acrylic, and every ball contains portions that are solids, marls, thin and thick. Knits up quickly to an Aran gauge of 4 st to the inch on US 10 needles. Hand wash cold, dry cleaning is recommended. A 50 gram ball is about 115 yards.
