Ophelia Tunic
by Lucy Neatby
A flattering tunic for all body types with a gorgeous zig-zag shoulder detail. This is a project that will give you a one-of-a-kind garment that will garner plenty of compliments. It's a light and easy to wear top, and the pattern includes set-in side gussets that can be adjusted for your actual hip measurements at the hemline. The pretty chevron stitch pattern is a classic
The pattern is written for three sizes with finished chest measurements (including all ease) of 38" (44", 50"). Worked in sock-yarn type 4ply yarn, it takes about 2100 yards (2800, 3150) of a main color, and about 200 yards contrast color. The main color can be solid or variegated.
Gauge is about 8 st to the inch, worked on size US 3 (3.25mm) needles. This pattern would be gorgeous in any of several of our sock yarns, but certainly do take a look at Fortissima Socka Cotton Colori, Trekking, or Austermann Step.
