Passione is another incredible look-alike creation from Lang Yarns! This beautiful blend of baby alpaca, nylon, and elastan (a stretchy fiber) mimics a lightly brushed mohair, without all the tickly sensation and the exorbitant cost! Because of an innovative spinning technique, this yarn knits like a lightweight worsted, but the resulting garment is airy and very light to wear.
It is so, so soft, and perfect for all sorts of uses.
As usual, the Lang colors are beautiful, and appealing, and completely current. This yarn is particularly good for big color work, like stripes or color blocking, but not stitch patterning.

Needed 3 more skeins of moss green Passione Baby Alpaca to complete project but my local yarn store has discontinued carrying it. Found it online, ordered it (the last 3 skeins, by the way), and received it in just a few days! Bonus: the color is an absolute match even though it is a different dye lot, yay!

super soft
I love the yarn. I started playing with one skein and it is SOOOO fluffy, I need to re-think my plans for it. I am seriously considering buying another pattern book from Lang to make a sweater designed with this yarn. It is VERY nice yarn !!

Perfect yarn for wet felting projects!
The alpaca in this yarn wet felts like a dream! The colors are yummy too! I am having so much fun making loosely crocheted window pane scarves and laying wool roving across the top and wet felting the prettiest, durable , soft scarves for kids’ Christmas gifts! Each ball makes 1 - 2 double crocheted skeletons for the wool to be applied… a perfect use of leftover roving and yarn!

The yarn arrived on schedule and that was very much appreciated. However, it appears that the site was more than likely hacked as I was targeted by a phishing campaign from a site originating in Singapore impersonating the USPS.

Wonderful yarn
